Install GHL custom CSS and JS once, then never again

To install GHL custom CSS and JS from the customizer, paste one script line into Agency Settings → Company → White Label → Custom JS, and, for the login page design, one CSS import line into Custom CSS on the same screen. It takes about two minutes and you do it once. After that, every change you publish in the editor goes live on the next page load without touching GoHighLevel again.

Custom JS

Styles the whole app: theme, menus, dashboard, board, widgets.

Loads the login page design on your white-label sign-in.

Step by step

Installing it, from the welcome email onwards

  1. Log in to the customizer

    Use the login from your welcome email at customizer.ghlcustomercare.com and change the temporary password.

  2. Open Get code

    The editor shows your script line and your login CSS line, each with your own key already filled in.

  3. Paste the script line

    In GoHighLevel: Agency Settings → Company → White Label → Custom JS. Paste it, then save.

  4. Paste the CSS line

    Same screen, Custom CSS field: paste the import line for the login page design, then save.

  5. Reload and check

    Open your white-label app domain in a fresh tab. The theme shows in the app, the login design on the sign-in page.

If it does not show

Four checks that fix almost every install

Privacy mode is worth knowing about here too: it comes with every package, and once installed an eye button in the header blurs names, emails and phone numbers for screen-shares.

    Nothing changed after saving

    Hard-refresh the app tab, then check that the line was saved in Custom JS, not in a sub-account’s settings.

  2. 02

    The app changed, the login did not

    The login design needs the CSS line in Custom CSS as well. The script line alone styles the app.

  3. 03

    It works on one domain only

    Your package sets how many domains the line may run on. Add the domain in the editor’s allowed domains list.

  4. 04

    Old custom CSS is fighting it

    Earlier hand-written CSS in the same field can override the design. Move it out, or keep only what you still need.
